Itinerary
- Day 1 | Delhi ✈ Leh — “Gateway to the Moonland”
Touch down in India’s loftiest town, ringed by serrated, snow-capped ridges. A chauffeur-driven SUV whisks you to The Indus Valley (or equivalent boutique sanctuary), Leh, a cedar-and-stone haven where oxygen-lounges, mountain, view balconies and hand-loomed throws make altitude feel effortless. Rest, hydrate, then optionally stroll up to Shanti Stupa for a violet-and-gold sunset above the white-washed maze of Leh Bazaar.
Meals: • D - Day 2 | Leh – Nubra Valley — Over the Silk Pass
After an optional Ladakhi breakfast, sweep over Khardung La, its prayer-flags snapping against cobalt sky. Pause at Diskit Monastery’s cliff-top Maitreya, then roll into an oasis of apricot groves and silver dunes. Check in at Kyagar Retreat, Nubra (or equivalent boutique sanctuary) where heritage-stone cottages meet designer linens. Toast the day with butter-tea beside a crackling bonfire.
Meals: B • D - Day 3 | Nubra — Desert Silk & Stargazing
Sunrise chants at Samstanling Gompa, a restorative stroll to Panamik hot springs, and a sunset Bactrian-camel saunter across Hunder’s dune-sea. Nightfall invites telescope-guided stargazing on Kyagar’s rooftop, constellations so sharp they feel hand-drawn.
Meals: B • D - Day 4 | Nubra — Turtuk — The Balti Frontier
Trace the turquoise Shyok to Turtuk, recently reintegrated Indian village on the ancient trade road. Wander walnut-wood lanes, sample sun-ripened apricots, then share a Balti family lunch on a terraced orchard. Return to Kyagar as alpenglow ignites the Saser peaks; optional in-room Himalayan salt-stone massage awaits.
Meals: B • D - Day 5 | Nubra — Leh — Heritage & Epicurean Freedom
A leisurely orchard breakfast precedes the glide back over Khardung La to Leh. Explore mud-brick palaces and hidden fresco chapels with our heritage guide, then browse silk-route trinkets in the bazaar. Dinner is deliberately independent, let our concierge secure you a table at Namza Dining for foraged-herb Thukpa, or Gesmo Café for yak-cheese pizza.
Meals: • B - Day 6 | Leh ✈ Delhi — Farewell to the High Himalaya
Optional dawn vigil from Tsemo Fort paints the Indus in molten gold. A chauffeur transfer returns you to the airport for your flight to Delhi or onward destination—soul soothed, camera brimming, pockets perfumed with mountain air.
